The Grand Master rank is simply a function for battlefield decision making if the need should arise.  Their authority is final on the field, and decisions range from acquiring general targets to specific commands to individuals.  However, the Grand Master should be open and accepting of suggestions from other members regardless of rank.  The Grand Master is also a decision making rank on any off field situations that may arise (in absence of/to assist the Grand Sage).  They should have The Order as a whole their first priority during decision making.

Masters may override a Grand Master's decision with a majority vote.  This rank may only be given to a member who has already obtained the rank of Master.

At this time, Grease and Sage are the Grand Masters of The Order.

Grand Master

Grand Sage

The Grand Sage is responsible for overseeing all other Sages, as well as having the final say over diplomatic issues.  The Grand Sage plays a major part by guiding and educating the Masters, Sages and Grand Master on unit needs, morale, as well as any possible drama within the unit.  The Grand Sage is in charge of camp maintenance and running feasts or role play events within Order Camp.  The Grand Sage and Grand Master work closely together to achieve a blend of a combat strong, and culture rich unit.

Sages may override a Grand Sage’s decision by a majority vote. This rank may only be given to a member who has already obtained the rank of Sage.

At this time, Tiaen is the Grand Sage of The Order.

Note:
For your lore or character history/description requirements to be fulfilled, the lore must be canon-ized.  This means it needs to be checked by our lore coordinators and/or our Grand Sage and read over for not only grammar/spelling checks, but to make sure that your story aligns with lore that has already been created in the world that the Order lies in.  If you have questions, feel free to send Tiaen or any of our members a message, or ask on our Concerning the Order page to find out what you can and cannot do.
This isn't a fast process (we have over 50 members and many of them send more than just the required lore), so if you are looking to have your ranking trial at a particular event, make sure to have your lore in at least a month ahead of time to make sure that our Lore Coordinators have enough time to go through it.
